The model features a reliable, robust body - Rainbow 50L PLUS Moonstone Microscope can be used as an instrument at home, as well as for laboratory work in schools and universities. High magnification power The kit includes three objective lenses. The most powerful objective (40xs) is equipped with a protective spring-loaded mechanism. This mechanism ensures optics safety. Even if you lower the objective lens too much and touch the sample with it, the objective lens will retract, preventing any damage. The kit also includes 2x Barlow lens which increases the magnification two-fold. The microscope in its standard configuration produces 64x, 128x, 160x, 320x, 640x and 1280x magnification! The optics are made of quality highly transparent glass. The lenses are coated with multiple layers of special anti-reflective coating. Combined illumination – explore a huge variety of microscope samples This model is equipped with two LED illumination systems. The lower lighting is needed for viewing transparent samples. For example, you will be able to examine the structure of a bee’s wing or detect microorganisms in aquarium water. The upper lighting allows for observing non-transparent (opaque) objects such as paper or metal. This model can also be used for working with semi-transparent objects by using both upper and lower lighting at once. The illumination systems feature adjustable brightness.
